We're looking for talented and driven Senior Software Engineer to work in a dynamic and agile development environment. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, intellectually curious individual who takes pride in creating simple, maintainable software using modern development techniques.

Required Qualifications:

* In-depth hands-on knowledge of web development, using Perl, OO Perl, ModPerl, MySQL.

* Strong JavaScript/AJAX programming skills.

* Very strong knowledge of HTML/DHTML/CSS and experience developing world-class web user interfaces and applications.

* Experience building high-performance, high-volume web applications. * Expert knowledge of one or more flavors of Unix, possibly including Mac OSX and Linux.

* Strong understanding of Subversion and/or CVS version control systems.

* Rapid prototyping skills and experience describing detailed design specifications.

* Ability to focus on execution against tight development schedules.

* Ability to work independently as well as with a team, and be able to effectively articulate and solve technical problems.

* Attention to details and willingness to exceed customer expectations are critical. Desired Qualifications:

* Object-oriented frameworks, Apache/mod-Perl, MVC, and Perl/Mason. Programming experience with Ruby on Rails framework.

* Experience with large scale GIS systems.

* Understanding and working knowledge of XML technologies and web services.

* Programming experience with Catalyst framework.

* C/C++, Java, or Ruby programming.

* Flash, Photoshop, Fireworks
